Teaching Education and Athletic
Management

“People who work together will
win, whether it be against complex
football defenses, or the problems
of modern society.”
-Vince Lombardi

The Power of Team
...In sports
...In school
...For success in life

If you’re involved in kids’ sports you
know how important team effort is. And as
a leader you want to help your team learn
skills and an attitude that will serve them
beyond the season.
Now you can be the leader who can do just
that, with one fun-filled program that
combines athletic training with scholastic
accomplishment, team building and
problem solving to set a pattern for success
throughout their lives.

The TEAM program will kick-off in the summer of 2008 with a camp for middle school girls.  Although the initial camp will be offered for girls in soccer it will be expanded for girls and boys in all team sports.  The camp will consist of daily athletic instruction and special events as well as science and engineering challenges to teach students how to work together as a team and to provide a solid foundation and knowledge in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) areas.

Students will also learn about nutrition and wellness strategies from experts in the medical field.

Currently scheduled to participate as educational specialists are representatives from NASA, NOAA, Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ Technology Education Association, and Lockheed Martin.

Following the summer camp experience, TEAM members will have the opportunity to participant in events throughout the year that will feature academic competitions combined with athletic tournaments.

TEAM’s unique combination of athletics and Academics will:

• Foster a positive attitude and good work ethics
• Teach healthy nutritional habits
• Demonstrate the significance of team mentality both on and off the field
• Provide a setting where learning is fun yet focused on accomplishment
