The EIRC is looking for champion companies and individuals to help with funding and

program development for the new Science and Technology Education Center home to the Challenger Learning Center. This educational initiative is too important to ignore. With our nation at risk in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) areas, this project will specifically address our national problem of the lack of students entering the science and engineering fields. Restoring a hands-on, real-world, theme-based approach to education could benefit all children. The EIRC will also look to align curriculum with corporate workforce needs. We expect this Center to serve as the regional training hub for teachers and students and stand as a model for sustainability education, STEM, and innovative teacher methods.

We are also planning an expanded promotional campaign.
